I am a composer and sound artist whose goal is to bring my audience as close to sound as possible. I explore both contemporary acoustic and electronic sounds. My focus is on creating environments where the audience is free to move through the sound and experience it with more than their ears.

I compose for chamber ensembles, orchestras as well as installations and sound objects I design. My work was commissioned by Access Contemporary Music as part of the Open House Chicago celebration of the Chicago Architectural Foundation. My work has also been performed at Spectrum NYC, Constellation (Chicago), Issue Project Room (NYC) and I was selected as a featured composer in the Oscillations series of Experimental Sound Studio. My sound installations have been featured at High Concept Labs, Internationales Musikinstitut Kunsthalle (Darmstadt, DE), Harvestworks/Governors Island, and Kalamazoo Valley Museum. This summer my work can be experienced at the urban+nature sonic pavilion, an exhibition of original soundworks to be showcased on the one-of-a-kind multi-channel system of Chicago’s Jay Pritzker Pavilion in Millennium Park. My work has been performed by Chicago Composers Orchestra, Fifth House Ensemble and Lakeshore Rush. In 2022, Lakeshore Rush included Curved Silence on their debut album Moving Parts (Albany Records). I have taught as an artist in residence at the School of the Art Institute Chicago, and have been awarded an artist’s residency fellowship at Ragdale and a Field/Work residency with the Chicago Artists Coalition. I was awarded a New Works Residency with Harvestworks New Media (NYC), as well as Individual Artist Support grants from the Department of Cultural Affairs, Chicago (DCASE), and sponsorship at High Concept Labs (Chicago). I received an MFA in Music Composition from Vermont College of Fine Arts.
